Hey Mini Book Masters,
This is my first edition of what I’m calling “Behind the Scenes” or abbreviated “BTS”.
BTS editions will be for the die hard book publishing geeks who want to know the weird science, mad ideas, coming soon updates, and details that the more sane among us roll their eyes at.
Just to be clear, this is not CONCRETE course quality content, its me letting you in my head… which is mostly… madness.
DISCLOSURE: Just because I say an idea here doesn’t mean I will 100% execute on it, rather this is what I’m “thinking” of doing with the Mini Book brand.
I Decided the Next Book/Course I’ll Be Working On (for Mini Book Lovers)
I’m currently writing two other books for my other brands.
The Auto Damage Estimating Software: CCC One Edition for my insurance adjuster mentorship company IA Path.
God is Like Sailing for my Christian Observational “God is Like” series.
But I’ve decided on the next book for the Author Models/Mini Book series.
After beginning coaching people 1 on 1 the biggest thing I see holding people back is… the overthinking of the prep work for a mini book.
They get hung up panning for gold when they should be spraying mud off the huge chunks of gold sitting in their pile of knowledge.

Mini Book Straight Jacket Course & Book
In the Mini Book Model I breeze through the Mini Book Straight Jacket, but as I coach people and as I apply it in my own writing I’m refining it.
The Mini Book Straight Jacket allows an author to focus solely on 1 thing at a time avoiding the over-analyzing that is common with legacy non fiction books.
We get swirling the water looking for specks of gold we miss the nuggets at our feet.
That is why Mini Book Straight Jacket is what I’ll tackle next. I need you to be able to sit your butt in the seat and begin writing. If I can do that I’ve succeeded as a mini book coach.

I Outlined 2 Books in 24 Hours
The last 24 hours I’ve been sailing my wife and 3 kids north off the Florida Coast in the Atlantic.
With all that extra passing time idling steering the wind driven vessel I practiced the updated Mini Book Straight Jacket Model and outlined 2 books. The Mini Book Straight Jacket and… you’ll have to wait to find out the other one.
Chat GPT Tool
Over the last week I created a GPT (a chat GPT instance with custom instructions) and a prompt that uses Chat GPT to guide me through the entire Mini Book Straight Jacket Process… start to finish.
This took some time, but it was SOOO WORTH IT.
That is how I was able to outline 2 books in 2 hours. This is not the first Chat GPT tool I’ve developed to speed up the writing process and I plan on unveiling everything I use here in the coming weeks and months to help speed up your book creation process.
